Update:

The 2006 SilviaWA dyno day gave me an opportunity to judge the effectiveness of the boost controller. The car is basically in the same configuration as it was for the 2005 dyno day, with only the addition of the boost controller and the S15 side mount intercooler.

At the first dyno day, the car was running approximately 10 PSI (the stock boost). At the second dyno day, I ran 12 PSI (what I have set as Hi Boost). I was hoping that the extra 2 PSI would put me over the 200 RWHP mark. To my surprise, it made 215.4 HP - an increase of 22.1 HP - a whopping 11.4%! Even better, the power increase is fairly consistent, right across the rev range.

It would have been interesting to see what the power reading would have been on Lo Boost - which I have set to the same level as stock - 10 PSI. As the controller gets the boost kicking in earlier, my seat-of-the-pants impression is that it may have read a little more than with the stock boost controller. To say that I'm impressed is an understatement!

Before - 193.3HP After - 215.4 HP
Before Installation - 193.3 HP @ 10 PSI After Installation - 215.4 HP @ 12 PSI
